In June 2024, Respecting Rights Peer Mentors and ARCH legal staff attended the 17th Conference of States Parties to the CRPD (CoSP17) at United Nations headquarters in New York.
Our delegation participated in roundtables on self-advocacy, institutional deinstitutionalization, and international disability rights monitoring, sharing Ontario’s unique community education models with global partners.
