Our Major Initiatives
Respecting Rights
An innovative, accessible rights education project led by self-advocates labelled with intellectual disabilities. Since 2011, Respecting Rights has provided workshops, videos, and law reform advocacy across Ontario.
CRPD Optional Protocol (OP) Lab
A national initiative building awareness and capacity within disability and legal communities across Canada to utilize the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and its Optional Protocol.
Collaborative & Community Partnerships
Empowering Community and Removal of Barriers (ECRoB)
ARCH is a proud partner of ECRoB, an impactful project led by the Environmental Health Association of Québec (EHAQ) focused on removing barriers and advancing rights for individuals with environmental health conditions.
Into the Light: Living Histories of Oppression
An award-winning exhibition and teaching portal co-created with survivors, historians, and artists. The project shines a light on Ontario’s history of institutionalization and ongoing legacies of eugenics.
